摘要
Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) has emerged as a key technology for improving spectrum efficiency while delivering dual functionalities. Recent work has integrated FMCW radar sensing into modern OFDM-based wireless systems to enable fine-grained, low-cost sensing with orthogonal coexistence. However, these approaches rely on fixed spectrum allocation, reserving static pilot subcarriers for sensing, which makes them vulnerable to frequency-selective fading and channel fluctuations. To overcome this limitation, this paper presents DyPilot, a Dynamic Pilot configuration framework. The core idea is a novel FMCW waveform design that explicitly controls pilot placement, combined with a learning protocol that adaptively adjusts this placement in response to changing channel conditions. Evaluations show that DyPilot consistently achieves higher data rates and lower sensing errors than random and sampling-based schemes across diverse dynamic environments.
